The #sherni epithet has been rendered flaky, the writing has lost its edge, and the series has lost its cool quotient. And what’s with the ‘Mother protecting her children’ by killing others and facilitating drug abuse, What part of women’s empowerment is this? The moral schema is threadbare and fanciful. #SushmitaSen looks ill and seems to be flying at half-mast. It’s a pity that #SikanderKher isn’t getting bigger roles. He has a gravitating screen presence and enough talent to score it big in the OTT space.
