Workshop for Jail Inmates Enters Limca Book of Records Jail inmates introduced to filmmaking To draw out the creative energies of the inmates of the Central Jail, Jaipur, a two-day filmmaking and theatre workshop was held inside the jail premises by Mumbai-based writer and film director Sanjeev Sharma. As part of the first such film making workshop 22 jail inmates learnt the theory and practical aspects of filmmaking and the various processes involved. The inmates were also educated on how to put up plays. The inmates on whose lives many a film could have been scripted found themselves behind the cameras and in the spotlight. In the first of its kind initiative, A workshop on Filmmaking & Theatre Arts which was conducted in September 2012 at Jaipur Central Jail has been recognized by Limca Book of Records.
