After winning two awards at Locarno for Thithi, the debutant director Raam Reddy gets felicitated by Honorable CM of Karnatake Sri Siddaramaiah on returning to his hometown Bangalore Mumbai, August 27, 2015: After returning from Locarno with two awards for his debut Kannada language film, Thithi, Bangalore based filmmaker Raam Reddy received an enthusiastic and warm reception from the Department of Information and Public Relations which immediately organised a meeting with the Honorable CM Sri Siddaramaiah in his residence yesterday. The film which premièred at the Locarno International Film Festival, 2015 won two top awards on Independence Day–Pardo d’oro Cineasti Del Presente Premio Nescens” (Golden Leopard, Filmmakers of the Present Competition) and “Swatch First Feature Award" for the best first feature in the entire festival.
