The Global Peace Initiative, 2014 was a sombre occasion, saluting the resilient spirit of Mumbai and spirit of Ms. Kia Scherr, who continues to stay in the same hotel and the same city where she lost her family during the terrorist attacks and wants to spread the message of love, peace and warmth to the same city that took away so much from her. Mumbai has lost many lives but has always bounced back with much positivity. The initiative saluted this very valiant essence of the city. From the past 2 years in the remembrance of the lives lost in the 26/11 terrorist attacks in Mumbai, Welingkar Institute of Management Development & Research hosts The Global Peace Initiative in collaboration with One Life Alliance.
