Federal Republic of Germany is the home to a world class research community and technology. Apart from aerospace and automobile the other industrial sectors like electrical engineering, electronics, and equipment manufacturing are growing industries in Germany. It is the technological motors that drive Germany as a high-tech nation and one which combines all of the key future technologies including electronics, robotics, materials and software. Most of the world's major manufacturing players and its suppliers have got manufacturing facilities in Germany. In order to understand updated manufacturing technologies and best manufacturing practices at production units and business process areas, TÜV Rheinland is organizing a study mission to Germany from 29 July to 3 August 2013, Cologne, Germany. This is 6th study mission in this series organized by TÜV Rheinland Training and Consulting (India).

Study Mission Focus: • Understand updated manufacturing technologies and best manufacturing practices at production units and business process areas. • Technological excellence through innovation and quality management. • Observe and learn best manufacturing practices and manufacturing problem solving techniques from major German companies. • Visit to major manufacturing companies. • Understand collaborative working relationship between major German OEM and their vendors for mutual benefits. • International seminar on Reliability engineering and product design, Renewable Energies, Photovoltaic-industry perspective, Energy efficiency in production and data centers, Hybrid production technologies, technological updates on manufacturing excellence etc. • Learn and promote quality management system and to enhance ability to solve quality related problems • Special session on Excellence Models on Manufacturing, EQA, Mx (Manufacturing)

All lectures, discussions and interactions at factories will be conducted in English or German translation into English.

Delegate Fee: Rs 190,000/- + tax per delegate. (12.36% of service tax extra).
