The movie JOBS, being released in India by PVR Pictures, chronicles his darkest days, biggest triumphs, his dreams, hopes and passions and his aspiration to change the world and question the impossible. The Ashton Kutcher starrer Steve Jobs biopic Jobs is set to hit Indian theatres on August 23. Based on the life of the co-founder of Apple, the biopic is directed by Joshua Michael Stern and stars Ashton Kutcher, who plays the late Steve Jobs, along with Josh Gad, JK Simmons, Matthew Modine and Dermot Mulroney.
Speaking on the alliance as the technology partner with the film Nandita Singgha, MD,TPDL, says “Steve Jobs plays a very inspirational role in my life; I could somewhere connect with him as we both struggled for success from a very nascent age in life. We both faced ups and downs in our lives to reach at the peak of success today! How could I miss the opportunity to get associated with the movie on someone I admire so much! She further adds, “I could relate with the movie that showcases the struggle of Steve Jobs in three important ways – motivational, inspirational and painful.” Further on the movie she adds, “Apart from it being a biopic on Steve Jobs, what attracted me to the movie is Technology. Hence, when this opportunity knocked my door, I grabbed it.” Says Nandita Singgha – “I could clearly identify with the story of Steve Jobs, as we both started our company from scratch with minimum investment but big dreams”. According to her, the journey for success has been quite similar for both the respective founders.
Spearheading the company, Nandita Singgha is the first woman entrepreneur in IT, and hails from North Eastern part of India.
