Once-upon-a-time famous TV star and reportedly Ekta Kapoor’s fave, Iqbal Khan was languishing in ig-nonimity before he could manage this so-called break into Bollywood. And it’s purportedly a first- completely produced in the United Arab Emirates, whatever that signifies!
A tumultuous musical love story revolving around three characters essayed by Iqbal Khan, Alka Verma and Hazel Crowney written and directed by Arshad Yusuf Pathan, this film has little to offer other than it’s picturesque UAE setting and an inside view of Sheikh Mohammed’s world famous stables, ‘Godolphin.’ The beautiful setting and intriguing locations apart, there’s very little to attract the attention of the cinema lover. The story is as hackneyed and devoid of logic, as they come. Confounding plotting makes it all the more intractable and unappealing. Not much was expected from this effort and it stays true to that presumption. Even the compositions are too pedestrian to qualify as musical. Frankly, why would anyone put in their hard earned bucks on this predictable loser?
