CLINTON CEREJO AND AMITABH BACHCHAN PUT TOGETHER A POWER PACKED PERFORMANCE FOR THE UPCOMING THRILLER, BADLA
Tuesday, 12th March 2019: Clinton Cerejo composed and sung an upbeat song, Aukaat along with Mr Amitabh Bachchan for the upcoming film, Badla.
Aukaat is a high octane track in which Mr Bachchan is seen rapping along with Clinton Cerejo, Jizzy and Amit Mishra. The track has garnered immense appreciation and has been trending across various platforms.
Talking about his experience, Clinton Cerejo shares “ Aukaat is incorporated according to the theme of the film suggesting mystery and machismo and it's a privilege to have Mr Bachchan himself render the vocals on this track who delivered it with so much ease that he totally owns the song. Two amazing writers - Siddhant Kaushal and Jizzy helped me create the frenzy ending that the song has. Amit Mishra to joins in on the higher octave in the chorus & it sketches the essence of an edge-of-your-seat thriller.”
He further adds “It has been a beautiful experience working on this song and an honour to work with Mr Bachchan so closely. I have often heard that Mr Bachchan is a thorough professional but working with him, made me realize the intensity of this statement. He was particular about getting it perfect and even in this brief encounter with him I have personally learnt a great deal.”
Sharing a laugh Mr Bachchan says “I am humbled with all the love and appreciation the track has been receiving. This is my 3rd track with Clinton and it’s always fun recording with him. Initially, it seemed challenging but once we started, it became a lot more fun. Not to mention, Amit and Jizzy were also truly supportive throughout. I would like to jam with all them more often.”
The song which released last week is the promotional track of the film Badla which stars Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu. The film has been directed by Sujoy Ghosh and releases in cinemas on 8th March 2019. Mr Bachchan has sung on Clinton’s composition earlier Kyo Re from the movie TE3N and Ekla Cholo Re from Kahani.
