By popular demand, one of India’s leading professional theatre groups, Rangbaaz Productions is back in Mumbai to delight theatre lovers across the city! Rangbaaz will stage their runaway hit musical comedy play -- ''BADE MIYAN DEEWANE'' – that has been enjoying a successful 10-year, 80 show run to packed houses across the country! It is being staged on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at St. Andrew’s Auditorium Bandra (W) at 7.30pm. It is suitable for children Aged 10 years and above.
Bade Miyan Deewane is one of the funniest Hindi Urdu romantic comedy plays to be staged in India and it is based on Shaukat Thanvi's novel Budbhas. The popular musical stars Imran Rasheed, Muzammil Qureshi, Yasir Khan, Barkha Saxena, Harpreet Singh, Nisha Dhar, Akriti Singh, Khaleeq Chaudhary, Khushboo Atre, Varun Kumar and Nishchal Sharma.
Bade Miyan Deewane is Directed by ace theatre Director, Imran Rasheed.

Synopsis
The play is essentially about a rich eccentric octogenarian who is used to living a luxurious and flamboyant life and is swept off his feet by a beautiful young girl in his neighborhood, who incidentally is also the love interest of his son. Meer Sahab falls for the young daughter of his neighbor Sheikh Inayatullah, his son, Tabish, is also in love with the same girl (Suraiya) and wants to marry her. Sheikh Sahab on the other hand wants to get Suraiya married to a dynamic man, charming young writer, Shaukat, who is an acquaintance of both Meer Sahab & Sheikh Sahab. Shaukat is a genuine well wisher of Meer Sahab who wants him to stop splurging his wealth on his tawaif (Heera & Gulab) and return to his good old days. Meer Sahab wants Shaukat to convince Sheikh that he is a great prospect for his daughter and at the same time, Sheikh wants Shaukat to counter Mir Sahab’s advances and teach him a lesson… As a result, Shaukat is embroiled in an unwanted sticky situation and all this leads to major confusion, misunderstanding, jealously and an utterly hilarious series of events!
