#TheMartian (English/Imax/3D) Rating: * * *1/2 A visually spectacular, enthralling outer space adventure that takes you thru the rigors of survival against-all-odds and eventually lands you safely back on earth , venting a huge sigh of relief. It’s that realistic and completely involving. It’s ‘Castaway’ in an alien planet, ‘Mars’ with none of the known survival tricks at your beck and call. To add to that pleasure, the science of it all is quite impregnable. The 3D/Imax is a real treat. #Talvar(Hindi) Rating: * * * It’s not as much about truth as it is about investigating agencies bumbling around in a sea of ineptitude and ego-centered posturing. And the tragedy of it all is lost in the many positions that the film tries to articulate in it’s efforts to show up the procedural inadequacies in the justice system prevalent in the country. The ‘Arushi Talwar’ murder case  finds yet another cinematic take but there’s no ‘Rahasya’ and even less attachment. Though the telling of it is gritty and temporally realistic in nature, the innumerable moments of tasteless levity and the inability to give the parents more of a voice and character, doesn’t allow for any great involvement either.
