The short film- 3 to 8 minutes- can be narrative fiction, documentary or experimental. The last date for entry is 1st July, 2014. Writers can also submit their stories.
The brief for the entries is that the film should explore an empowering person or an optimistic story about individuals and communities who are overcoming poverty and hunger, combatting disease, or improving health.
5 winners in the challenge will be awarded a cash prize and their films will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival, 2015.
