#BlackHome (Hindi) Rating: * * Story based on true incidents in a remand home, has shock value but it’s hard to get empathetic when every event is overdone and primed for copious ingratiation. #ChitrashiRawat is fiery, spunky and gets to you with her free-wheeling performance. The rest is just masalafied balderdash! #FriendsIncorporate #VijayKamble #AshishDeo #AshutoshRana #MurliSharma #MohanJoshi #VishwajeetPradhan #AchintKaur
#DozakhInSearchOfHeaven( Hindi) Rating: * ½ pretentious symbolism on the theme of Hindu-Muslim unity, this film ,set in a village near Benares, tends to the repetitive, tedious and un-retentive. Noble intentions don’t always mean heart-wrenching or interesting! This is merely pointless conceptual indulgence. #ParullGossain #ZaighamImam #ABInfosoft #PawanTiwari #JALSAPictures #LalitMohanTiwari
#DilliwaliZaalimGirlfriend(Hindi) Rating: * * The usual attitudinal rom-com set in Delhi, this one makes heavy-weather of the few and far between fun moments. Performances are ok but the script lacks humor and bite #ParullGossain #IraDubey #DivyenduSharma #JackieShroff #PrachiMishra #JapinderKaur #TarnpreetSingh #ManjeetKaur #JAPFilms.
#Hunterrr(Hindi) Rating: * * * A rather tastefully ( if a bit wayward)rendered raunchy adult sex comedy, this one is neither exploitative nor sleazy. The language has been censored appropriately. The lead character is a randy sex addict who is misogynist interested in hetero sex ,not marriage. He hits on every woman in the vicinity- no holds barred. This could be highly entertaining downtime for those brave enough to venture forth. It taps into male sexual obsession and would appear familiar -from boys to men! #GulshanDevaiah #HarshavardhanKulkarni #RadhikaApte #SaiTamhankar #AnuraagKashyap #SagarDeshmukh #VeeraSaxena #RachelDsouza #VikramidityaMotwane #VikasBahl #SpicePR
#Cinderella(English) Rating: * * * ½ #KennethBrannagh’s effusive and sumptuous live-action retelling of the classic fairy tale is a wonderfully realized family feature that retains the strengths of the original while at the same time rejuvenating it for modern viewing. The visuals take a spectacular route for the fantasy godmother sequences. #LilyJames #CateBlanchett #RichardMadden #SophieMcShera #HollidayGrainger #HelenaBonhamCarter #DerekJacobi #StellanSkarsgard #NonsoAnozi #BenChaplin #HayleyAtwell

#Insurgent(English/3D) Rating:* * * The sequel to the young-adult hit ‘Divergent’ this ‘Insurgent’peddles the same kinetics with a resurgence in story-telling, mind-boggling conceptual FX, supreme action and imminently likeable lead performances while teasing the imagination with virtual-reality combat environments, dream-within-dream illusions and bounteous talents that defy physical constraints #Loudspeakermedia #KinesisFilms #Lionsgate #MauliSingh #OnitaMasquerenhas #ShaileneWoodley #RedWagonEntertainment #MandevilleFilmsProduction #TheoJames #MilesTeller #JaiCourtney #AnselElgort
#TheSecondBestExoticMarigoldHotel (English) Rating: * * * Another sequel, a totally unnecessary though delightful one that flaunts an abundance of charm and exotica in a far more funnier, colorful, exciting and dramatic, albeit a trifle frivolous vein than the first. The film captures India(Jaipur/Mumbai) in all it’s vibrant and enthralling majesty. With celebrated thespians essaying the major roles, it’s performance heavy and makes a song and dance of it too. It may have come second but this one’s a first in terms of sheer entertainment. #JudiDench #DevPatel #BillNighy #RichardGere #MaggieSmith#DavidStrathairn #PenelopeWilton #TamsinGreig

Colorful, radiant, Exotic India story
Film The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel
ast: Judi Dench, Dev Patel, Bill Nighy, Richard Gere, Maggie Smith, David Strathairn, Penelope Wilton, Tamsin Greig
Rating: * * *
Running Time: 122 min.
Synopsis:
Sonny (Dev Patel) prepares to expand The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel for the Elderly and Beautiful while planning his impending wedding to Sunaina (Tena Desae) in this sequel that re-teams director John Madden and screenwriter Ol Parker.
Review
The film opens with Sonny(Dev Patel) and Muriel(Maggie Smith) in the USA, trying to interest some funders for their Exotic Marigold expansion plans. At the same time wedding preparations are on in full swing in Jaipur with Sonny’s fiancée Sunaina(Tena Desae) is holding fort at the hotel as well as managing the nitty-gritty’s of the nuptials and associated ceremonies.
The contented residents are all immersed in their own plans while they are equally excited about what looks like a big fat Indian wedding.
When Sunny gets back he is confronted by two new guests- Guy(Richard Gere) and Lavinia(Tamsin Grieg) and just one available, ready room. Allowing his famous nose to do the talking, he extends the hospitality of the better room to Guy- imagining him to be the rep from the financier. Lavinia gets short-shrift but Muriel offers her another alternative. Meanwhile Doughlas(Bill Nighy) and Evelyn(Judi Dench) begin their new careers in Jaipur albeit with some serious stutters. Norman(Ronald Pickup) and Carol(Diana Hardcastle) are busy testing each other’s love while Madge(Celia Imrie) is busy playing tick-tack-toe with two eligible suitors. to complicate matters further Sonny becomes insanely jealous over Sunaina’s brother’s friend Kushal, who is choreographing the wedding dances. neither does he want his Mummyji(Lilette Dubey) to get close to Guy. So quite a few complications are in store and they all unravel and get sorted out towards the end.
This sequel , though unnecessary, manages to be ingratiating. It gives enough mileage to all the characters and handles them with love, care and affection. John Madden works again with screenwriter Ol Parker to make the film interesting and entertaining. The multiple sub-plots and twists do appear a trifle feeble but considering the people in the centre of it all, it ‘s also kind, sweet and open-hearted. nevertheless there a sense of contentedness when it’s all done with. India looks vibrant, exotic and inviting. Maggie Smith and Judi Dench are simply extraordinary. The others lend strong, able support to make the experience close to fulfilling!
