RC Venkateish steps down as Dish TV CEO, Jawahar Goel replaces Subhash Chandra as chairman
MUMBAI: RC Venkateish has stepped down as CEO of the leading direct-to-home (DTH) operator Dish TV after spending five years at the company.

In a separate development, Dish TV chairman Subhash Chandra has also resigned and MD Jawahar Goel will take charge as chairman of the company.
Times Network's property news channel MagicBricks Now to launch on 1 Nov
NEW DELHI: Times Network’s upcoming real estate and property news channel will be named MagicBricks Now. The channel will launch on 1 November.
Earlier, Times Network had said that the new channel would be named Property Now. Incidentally, Times Internet owns real estate portal MagicBricks.com.
Sarbvir Singh quits as Capital18 MD
MUMBAI: After spending almost nine years at Capital18, the investment arm of Network18, Sarbvir Singh has decided to move on.
Singh served as MD of the venture capital and buyout firm, which focused on investments in media, entertainment and technology companies.
Zee Anmol is No. 2 Hindi GEC
MUMBAI: Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd’s (ZEEL) free-to-air (FTA) channel Zee Anmol has rushed to the No. 2 spot in the Hindi GEC hierarchy, behind only Star Plus.
Zee Anmol saw a surge in viewership, according to BARC data for the week ended 23 October. Colors lost is second rank and stood at No. 3.
DD National was the other big gainer in Week 42.
Ferzad Palia gets additional responsibility of MTV & Pepsi MTV Indies
MUMBAI: Viacom18 has named Ferzad Palia as head of Youth Entertainment with immediate effect.
In his new role, Palia will be heading youth brand MTV and indie platform Pepsi MTV Indies. He will be taking on this new role in addition to his existing duties as the head of English Entertainment at Viacom18, which includes brands such as Vh1, Comedy Central and the recently launched Colors Infinity.
