#XPastIsPresent(English/Hindi) Rating: * * When noted film critics turned aspiring film makers get together to forge together an anthology of sorts you would expect something earth-shattering… 11 of them together make a hallucinatory hops-scotch about a mysterious writer K’ a.k.a Kishen who has fanciful thoughts about sleeping with every woman that crosses his path. Fantasy or reality is a question for you to ponder on but needless to say it’s unbelievable, sexist, extremely fanciful, weirdly wired and lacks lucidity and coherence. The shot-taking is brilliant and the camerawork is sharply atmospheric but the telling of it(i.e Treatment) is unedifying. You’ll be hard-pressed to sit through this senseless and enervating 102 minutes of this 11 directors’helmed hedonistic ego trip. #ParullGossain #RajatKapoor #AnujDhawan #AseemBajaj #DineshKrishnan #GairikSarkar #KatyayaniMudholkar #MaeveOConnell #Q #RaviKChandran #SandeepMohan #SiddharthaNuni #SidharthKay #VirajSinghGohil #RajatKapoor #AnshumanJha #AditiChengappa #BiditaBag #GabriellaSchmidt #HumaQureshi #NehaMahajan #ParnoMitra #PiaBajpai #PoojaRuparel #RadhikaApte #RichaShukla #RiiSen #SwaraBhaskar #ThiagarajanKumararaja #ShiladityaBora #SudhishKamath #ManishMundra

#Spectre(English) Rating: * * *Blending in with the past. ‘Skyfall’ and Daniel Craig took Bond to a new level of emotional engagement but ‘Spectre,’ Director Sam Mendes’ helmed Bond’s latest, regresses back to the old fashioned antiquity of the cold-blooded Spy easily flitting through romantic flings, daredevilry and killings without batting an eyelid. It’s enigmatic, busy, has sufficient action but regressive nevertheless. There’s no emotional attachment here. Just nostalgia and familiarity to keep you rooted. It’s a measured action thriller that’s predicative and boring for long stretches in between the action set-pieces. #UniversalCommunications #ParagDesai #AnjaliMalhotra #SonyPicturesEntertainment #DanielCraig #ChristophWaltz #LeaSeydoux #RalphFiennes #MonicaBellucci #BenWhishaw #NaomieHarris #DaveBautista #AndrewScott #AlbertRBroccoli #EonProductions #MGM #ColumbiaPictures #MichaelGWilson #BarbaraBroccoli

#SecretInTheirEyes( English) Rating: * * 1/2 Atmospherically dense but not quite suspenseful. Inspired by the Argentinian Oscar winner by #JuanJoséCampanella this remake by #BillyRay has all the trappings of an atmospherically dense dramatic thriller but there’s no edge to it. And the painful reveal at the end is pretty much predictable. #JuliaRoberts #ChiwetelEjiofor #SpicePR #RelianceEntertainment #STXEntertainment #GranViaProductions #IMGlobal #IngeniousMedia #RouteOne #UnionInvestmentPartners, #SITEProduction #WilliesMoviesProduction #MarkJohnson #MattJackson #ChiwetelEjiofor #JuliaRoberts #NicoleKidman #DeanNorris #MichaelKelly #ZoeGraham #LyndonSmith #DonHarvey #FrankieSims #PatrickDavis #BenjaminWaters #GregDuncan #ToniFrench #JohnPapsidera #AmirMalaklou #StephanieMcIntyre #PhillipORiley #WalterTabayoyong #AlessandroCuomo #BryanWilliams #JahmillaJackson #JohnPirruccello #BillyRay
