#Spectre(English) Rating: * * * Blending in with the past. ‘Skyfall’ and Daniel Craig took Bond to a new level of emotional engagement but ‘Spectre,’ Director Sam Mendes’ helmed Bond’s latest, regresses back to the old fashioned antiquity of the cold-blooded Spy easily flitting through romantic flings, daredevilry and killings without batting an eyelid. It’s enigmatic, busy, has sufficient action but regressive nevertheless. There’s no emotional attachment here. Just nostalgia and familiarity to keep you rooted. It’s a measured action thriller that’s predicative and boring for long stretches in between the action set-pieces. #UniversalCommunications #ParagDesai #AnjaliMalhotra #SonyPicturesEntertainment #DanielCraig #ChristophWaltz #LeaSeydoux #RalphFiennes #MonicaBellucci #BenWhishaw #NaomieHarris #DaveBautista #AndrewScott #AlbertRBroccoli #EonProductions #MGM #ColumbiaPictures #MichaelGWilson #BarbaraBroccoli
