# International Television & Film Actor
For the first time ever Comic Con India is bringing in an international TV personality as a special guest.
Mark Gatiss (Actor, Co-Creator & Executive Producer, Sherlock) will be attending Mumbai Film and Comic Con 2014 (*NEW)

Mark Gatiss has a long and varied career as a writer and producer behind the camera, as well
as being a critically acclaimed actor and published author. Mark's great early success on television was as part of the comedy troupe The League of Gentlemen, where he both wrote and appeared onscreen.
Like Steven Moffat, Gatiss is one of the few writers to have written for all four Doctors in the
modern television revival of Doctor Who (Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant, Matt Smith
and Peter Capaldi). Mark is also the writer and executive producer of An Adventure in Space
and Time, a 90 minute dramatisation of the genesis of the series as part of Doctor Who’s 50th
Anniversary celebrations in 2013.
Gatiss is also the co-creator and executive producer of Sherlock, the hit BBC series starring
Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman. In the series he also plays Sherlock’s brother
Mycroft Holmes. Sherlock has seen unprecedented success across the globe, with Series 3 in
the UK billed as the most watched drama on British television in a decade. It also won seven
Emmys in 2014.

He has been profiled by The New York Times, Publisher’s Weekly, NPR, Sky News, BBC Radio, The Village Voice and Advertising Age.

Cosplay (Costume Contest), one of the major attractions at Comic Con India, will continue to give assured prizes to everyone in costume. Comic Con India has created 5 categories & each day one winner will be chosen from each of the five categories:

After releasing the Teaser of Star Wars - Episode 7 - The Force Awakens, Star Wars team is creating Star Wars Zone at Mumbai Film and Comic Con. It will be the first of its kind experience zone created to enthrall the Mumbai fan boys.
* The zone is designed to resemble the bridge of a star destroyer with snazzy and futuristic display, equipped with Star Wars weapons, character figurines and inspired art.
