Following the catastrophic landfall of Hurricane Melissa on Jamaica’s southern coast, the Peter Tosh Foundation is launching an urgent relief campaign: Rebuild Jamaica to help rebuild damaged communities in Belmont -Bluefields, Westmoreland, the region where reggae legend Peter Tosh grew up. Hurricane Melissa made landfall on October 28, 2025, as a historic Category 5 storm, unleashing sustained winds of up to 185 mph and rainfall exceeding 30 inches in many areas.
