This week on PVR Director's Rare - a Tamil film called Kalyana Samayal Saadham (The Wedding Feast).

This week on PVR Director's Rare we have a Tamil film called Kalyana Samayal Saadham (The Wedding Feast). Written and Directed by R S Prasanna it's  a modern day couple's love life from engagement to wedding . A Romantic Comedy that takes a 'Woody Allen'ish view on the Big Fat South Indian Wedding, the movie daringly walks the razor edge of adult humor. It is the  first Indian film to deal with "Performance Anxiety"  that afflicts the Male Lead, Ragu, just a month before his arranged marriage with Meera, the quintessential TamBrahm modern girl. Starring  K Prasanna and Lekha Washington  it was recently viewed by Kamal Haasan upon his personal request at his home, and he warmly appreciated the whole team, calling the film "Very cute!" It all started with this promo song video which became a huge viral sensation, using Facebook completely to showcase a modern day couple's love life from engagement to Wedding. https://www.y
