Canada to partner India in expanding education and fostering innovation Mumbai / February 28, 2014 Canada’s Governor General David Johnston, as part of his first day’s engagements in Mumbai participated in a round table discussion on “India’s Education Future”, organized by Consulate General of Canada and Wilson College today. Himself, a distinguished academician and author of 24 books, Mr. Johnston, in his address stressed on how Canada can help India expand its formal education system through innovative platforms. He said, Canada can make a real contribution in countries like India, by offering high-quality, relatively low cost higher education programmes.
