World renowned Taiwanese born American Director Ang Lee will be presenth wit the cast and crew of his new film ‘Life of Pi’ based on the best selling novel of Yann Martel about an Indian Zoo keeper’s son who survives shipwreck in the company of zoo animals. Tata Literature live festival Oct 31 to Nov 4 at NCPA, Mumbai

The third edition of the Tata Literature Live festival is slated for October 31 - November 4 at the National Centre for Performing Arts and promises to be even more exciting than the previous two editions. There will be parallel sessions running at the Experimental and Little theatres along with different styles of theatre performances at the various venues, including Tata theatre. For the theatre enthusiasts, also taking place are workshops in the Audio-Visual room related to playwriting and performance poetry, and a straight talk by Girish Karnad. To attend the sessions, free day passes can be collected at the start of each day from the venue. Separate passes need to be collected for the performances. Day 2 at the 14th Mumbai Film Festival ensues with fervor Mumbai, October 19, 2012: - Following a grand ceremony and consequent celebrations to mark the commencement of the eight-day long cinematic extravaganza, the second day of the 14th Film Festival, presented by Reliance Entertainment and American Express and organized by the Mumbai Academy of Moving Image began with an army of ardent cinephiles eagerly awaiting the screening of the day’s first film.
