Sony's Unbeatable line-up of movies for 2012

SONY PICTURES ANNOUNCES AN UNBEATABLE LINE-UP FOR 2012 ~ Studio to bring back MIB, Spider-Man, Bond, Total Recall in 2012 ~ Mumbai, 20 December 2011… Sony Pictures today announced an exciting line-up for 2012 with five major franchises being brought back along with much-awaited films from critically acclaimed directors David Fincher and Quentin Tarantino. The line-up includes Men in Black 3 back with the original cast of Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones in 3D (May), The Amazing Spider-Man in 3D (July), the next film in the Bond franchise titled Skyfall (November). Also coming back is Kate Beckinsale in the fourth installment of the Underworld series – Underworld: Awakening in 3D (January) and Milla Jovovich in Resident Evil: Retribution in 3D (September). The year begins with the already critically acclaimed and award-nominated The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, the first of a trilogy starring Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara on 6 January, and ends with Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained starring Leonardo DiCaprio on 28 December. Also in the line-up are a remake of 1991 blockbuster Total Recall with Colin Farrell (releasing worldwide in August), Adam Sandler comedy I Hate You Dad, high octane action film Premium Rush starring Joseph Gordon Levitt, romantic drama The Vow starring Rachel McAdams, claymation comedy The Pirates! Band of Misfits starring Hugh Grant, 3D animated film Hotel Transylvania and a revival of the cult 80’s TV series 21 Jump Street now as a major motion picture.* "After completing 75 years as a studio in India, and ending this past year on a high with the tremendous success of The Adventures of Tintin, I can say without a doubt that the best is yet to come. 2012 has a dream line-up with five major franchises coming back.
