AWARDS are conceived to recognized outstanding achievements in the music
industry. The entries for the KALAHANS AWARDS are invited from all over the country covering all forms
& genres of Indian Music and dance. The awards ceremony will feature
performances by prominent artistes from classical as well as more popular
genres of Music & Dance. The program
will be attended by top Artistes from the world of Indian music and dance &
hosted by popular anchors & hosts from the field of film & television.
With the
support of Veterans & honored artists from the field of music & dance
The KALAHANS AWARDS are poised to be the pioneers to promote Indian
culture in the crowd of western & fusion performances being promoted &
marketed aggressively that are somehow undermining the melodies & emotions
created by Indian music & dance in the past. In this context I will be
highly obliged to you for your support cooporation & collaboration for such
a noble task.
You are kindly
requested to send nomination for special awards & entries for competition
sections in as many categories/sub-categories from your
organization/institution as you feel to provide maximum opportunities for music
& dance performers, practioners & students.
You may also
forward this information to others artists & organization engaged in the
promotion & education of Indian Music & Dance who may not be on our
mailing list, so that they also become part of the Mahakumbh of Indian culture.
This will not only inspire them to excel in their chosen field of music
& dance but also give them a platform to showcase their performance.
The last date
for the KALAHANS AWARDS Entry is 28th February, 2013, however
the dates for the award function will be announced later.
