Location Shoot of ‘Kashmir : Enigma Of Paradise’ in Lonavla at the Baje Caves site

Kashmir has often been referred to as heaven on earth. The valley is also famous for its dry fruits, apples and picturesque scenery. It's been on every tourist's 'To Do' list since time immemorial. But Terrorism has played spoilsport for the past decade and more. But the recent influx of tourists has now encouraged film producers to start shooting their films in what is also referred to as India's Switzerland. Atul Garg's in- production film Kashmir : Enigma of Paradise hopes to debunk the propaganda of hate spread by recent films focussed on Kashmir. Its a pity that to-date no film has tried to show the germination of strife in Kashmir. Writer Director Atul Garg's upcoming film Kashmir - Enigma of Paradise attempts to take care of this lacuna. This film, takes us back to the last century i.e. before independence, from 1920 onwards and ends in todays Kashmir. It's likely to be an eye opener for those who have little idea of how the turmoil in Kashmir originated. The film also hopes to rekindle Kashmiriyat among the people of the valley. In addition to this the audience will be treated to scenes encompassing the unique culture, cuisine, and the beauty of local Kashmir.

Most films about Kashmir, made in the last decade have focused on terrorism. Garg's film hopes to propagate peace and love instead.The shooting of the film Kashmir - Enigma of Paradise, which has a schedule of about 100 days, is currently being done in Lonavala Maharashtra. before this also Two schedules have been completed in several locations in Kashmir and the remaining part will be shot in other parts of the country . Darsheel Safary who plays a prominent role in this film, says "this film is about looking inside - an introspective look at the many issues that have plagued Kashmir. I play a character who goes through a long transformative journey. Its a challenging role and I am grateful to the Director for considering me for it." He goes on to say, " Director Atul Garg is very clear about what he hopes to achieve with this film and his extraordinary and sensitive vision gives the actor in me the courage to put forwsrd my best."

The Hindi film Kashmir - Enigma of Paradise, being produced under the banner of Eternal Films Private Limited, has been directed by Atul Garg. The cinematography of this film is being done by Fasahat Khan, the production designer is Shree S Nair and the action director is Sunil Rodrigues. The promoter of this film is Sanjay Bhushan Patiyala.
