Synopsis: ‘Krishna Aur Kans’- an animated feature film in 3D is based on the timeless tale of Lord Krishna – one of India’s legendary characters from Indian mythology revered across the globe. The film chronicles his early years – from his birth as the nemesis of his evil uncle Kans, to his combat against innumerable lethal demons- who are sent by none other than Kans to kill Krishna. This enthralling film brings to life Krishna’s various adventures and miracles in an aim to fulfill his aim on earth – to put an end to evil.
Director Vikram Veturi’s Profile
Vikram’s career in animation spans over 13 years. He started his career as a 2D animator on the Millimages series -‘Pablo- The Little Red Fox’ (BAFTA Winner 2000). He has worked on many prestigious shows ranging from short films, commercials, series, and feature films as animator, animation director and director. He is one of the first Indian animators to initiate digital 2D techniques into production and has mentored a massive work force of digital 2D animators. He was animation director for the Warner Brothers series ‘Mucha Lucha’. He co-directed the short film ‘The Bad Egg’ which won Digicon International award at Japan and Gold medal at New York Film Festival. Vikram has also directed the digital 2D animated series ‘Shaktimaan’, presently aired on Nickelodeon. ‘Krishna Aur Kans’, a high end digital 3D feature film directed by him is due for release on 3rd August, 2012.
