Currently doing rounds of various International Film Festivals and garnering acclaim is BLACK &
WHITE, an English short film directed by Sunil Tiwari of Black Coffee & Smoke Films that is Co-
produced by Yusuf Botawala. The film plot is based in Durban and revolves around two
individuals, from two extreme ends of the racial spectrum, having dark, distinct secrets and
personalities of their own, and is stuck in a quagmire of a self-devised point of no return. They
rely on their wits, their one-upmanship and quick-on-the draw abilities to survive what can be
termed as the darkest night of their lives. You need to watch the film to know if they make it
through this arduous test of time and its ruthless temerity.

The film is directed by Sunil Tiwari of Black Coffee & Smoke Films. Sunil has his vast experience
in films and has directed several ad films. His latest directorial venture Black &White has Indian
actor Naresh Shroff and Nigerian Actor Elvis Ozowara in lead roles.
The story and screenplay is written by Chetan Rao and Joseph George of Black Coffee & Smoke
Films. They both have been Creative Heads in some of the world’s most creative advertising
agencies like McCann Erickson, Saatchi & Saatchi, Lowe, J. Walter Thompson and Young &
Rubicam to name a few with many awards in their names.
