Saga Music ventures into overseas film distribution Inks deal with K Sera Sera Productions for exclusive overseas theatrical distribution of upcoming Bollywood film ‘Life Ki Toh Lag Gayi’

Also acquires exclusive worldwide music rights for the film
New Delhi, April 3, 2012 – Saga Music, a rapidly-growing music distribution company expanding its footprint in Bollywood, today announced its foray into overseas film distribution with the acquisition of exclusive worldwide (excluding India) theatrical rights for Bollywood comedy flick ‘Life Ki Toh Lag Gayi’, being produced by leading entertainment production company K Sera Sera Productions. Saga Music has also won non-exclusive rights of the film for India and exclusive physical and digital rights for distribution of the music worldwide, including India.
Life Ki Toh Lag Gayi marks the directorial debut of Rakesh Mehta and has actors Pradhuman Singh, Kay Kay Menon, Manu Rishi, Ranvir Shorey and Neha Bhasin in lead roles. The music of the film has been composed and directed by music composer and ad film maker-turned music director Vinay Jaiswal. It features a hip-hop track from the ‘King of Bhangra pop’, Daler Mehndi, who has rendered his voice for the dance number ‘Haryana Ka Sher’. Music director Pardeep Kotlana has directed the re-mix version of the song. Renowned pop singer Nitin Bali, playback singer Suraj Jagan (noted for the song ‘Give Me Some Sunshine’ from the movie ‘3 Idiots’) , Vinay Jaiswal and actor Manu Rishi have rendered their voice to the other tracks, which range from romantic to sad to slow beat and rock.

The music composition of the film is refreshing, much like its plot, with hummable lyrics, catchy beats and powerful singing that attempts to keep pace with the mood of the film. Saga Music, which has earlier also been part of offbeat movie projects as a music distributor, will distribute the movie to theatres overseas and also the music album to listeners in more than 135 countries. They’ve been also been awarded non-exclusive rights for India.” The movie is being simultaneously released in India and abroad on 20th April 2012.
