15th Madurai International Documentary and Short Film Festival will be conducted in Madurai on 6-10 December 2013.

The screenings will take place under the following heads

1) International films

2) Rest of India

3) Films from Tamilnadu

4) Retrospective: Pankaj Butalia

5) Magic Lantern Cinema (films distributed by Magic Lantern Films, curated by Gargi Sen)

6) Country package (curated by Paul Lee)

Entries are invited under 1,2,3 sections.

The Rules:

1) The festival is a non competitive film festival

2) No entry fee

3) No restriction on themes

4) No restriction on duration for documentary films

5) Short films can have duration up to 30 minutes

6) Films for 2,3 sections should have subtitles in English

7) The films need to submitted along with the entry form

8) The films will not be returned

9) A selection committee will select a list of films that will be screened in the film festival.

10) Last date to send entries 1 October 2013
