Gurmmeet Singh, the director of the movie was rather ecstatic to be presenting to the world, the first look of his next. He said, “The film has so much chaos that it made complete sense to call it What The Fish. Moreso, to have the film be associated with the younger audience”. When asked about casting Dimple as Sudha Mishra he said, “When I wrote the script I never thought it would be Dimpleji I would cast as the main character lead. But when the script was over, she fit in perfectly well. Working with her was delightful; she was the only kid on the sets of the movie”.
