Bullet Raja(Hindi) Rating: * * ½ Racy but graceless. This actioner is
sadly disapointing despite it’s invigorating formulaic moments. Once the
charismatic Jimmy Sher Gill goes out of the frame, the film falls flat and gets
even more jumpier!
Frozen(Animation/English/3D) Rating: * * * ½
Stunning 3D animation, beautiful characterisations and a fairytale story musical
based on Hans Christian Andersen’s ‘Snow Queen’ makes this one of Disney’s best
works in recent times.
Delivery Man( English) Rating: * * This remake of ‘Starbuck(original Vicky
donor)’ albeit a decade older and still slacking, lacks the charm and funnies
of the original. It’s just not as entertaining as it should have been
Asa Me Ashi Ti(Marathi) Rating: * * * A
‘Second chance at Love’ Story, this
marathi film. despite it’s elongated runtime and overly stretched out story has
enough pluses to engage. Solid Performances from the immensely likable cast
and tempered treatment, make it worthy of a dekho.
Walesa: Man of
Hope(Polish/English Subtitles): Rating: * * * * As an opener to the Polish Film
Festival, at PVR, This bio-pic about the Solidarity strong man/Nobel Peace
Prize winner, Lech Walesa, the man with a mission to free Poland from the
communists, paints a stirring drama of hope against all odds.
