Commonwealth Spectrum Management Forum to discuss developments with spectrum technologies, standards, services, applications and platforms The Commonwealth Spectrum Management Forum 2018 will take place at the InterContinenal Mauritius Resort Balaclava Fort, Mauritius, on 4 – 6 September 2018 under the theme “resolving access accessibility and affordability - the dynamic spectrum challenge". Hosted by the Ministry of Technology Communication and Innovation and the Information and Communication Technologies Authority of Mauritius, this event will focus on facilitating a more efficient use of the radio spectrum frequency in order to assist national economic development efforts. The advance of the Internet of Things, alongside ever increasing opportunities for mobile data communications will result in increasing demand for spectrum, and the Commonwealth Spectrum Management Forum will examine the challenges involved in managing this demand.
