Of Monsoon Wedding,Swadesh & Bheja fry  fame, actor Rahul Vohra was recently felicitated with France's biggest award (  recipients like Big B, Ashwarya Rai & Shahrukh Khan), for his contribution to French theatre, at a gala function in the French embassy. the award was presented by French Ambassador Francois Richier who conferred the Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres to Rahul Vohra.

In his acceptance speech, Rahul Vohra demurred, "  I never expected that such a big award. I  am happy that a humble actor like myself has been considered as part of that list of legends who were conferred this award  previously. I am grateful that my hard work in theatre was  recognize. I promise to continue  my hard work towards the promotion of french theater and arts.

The function was attended by Rajeev Sethi,Rahul Ram and wife Ayesha,Sandip Dikshit,Mona Dikshit,Latika Dikshit,Ustad Wasifuddin Dagar,Designer Amardeep Behl and  Vohra's entire  family including wife  Mona Irani, daughter Shanelle,friends and member of his theater Group Chingari.
