EMCO Foundation tries to make a difference in the life of Municipal School Students.


The 8th edition of EMCO Foundation's Project Parivartan Convocation program was held at Kashinath Ghanekar Hall, Thane on 26st Feb 2015, from 11am onwards. Parivartan is a personality development program conducted for TMC students to bring about change in them. Sri. Sunil Chavan, Additional Commissioner of TMC was the Chief Guest. Sri Sunil Chavan felicitated TMC students for their Performance under project Parivartan. On this occasion Sri. Sunil Chavan gave a very inspirational speech to students and promised to help in every activity which will improve the educational standard. During his speech he also said that “to involve everyone in ‘Swachata Abhiyan’ students must provoke their parents for active participation”. With some beautiful stories and examples he explained students that how to en-cash the opportunities and how to overcome from difficult situations with mental preparation, willpower & confidence.

In today's scenario everyone is looking for talent and smart person; and the project Parivartan is designed taking into consideration various factors to give the municipal school students a fight chance against all odds. The topics covered in the project are development of self-esteem, Communication skills, Habits, Time management, Goal setting, Fast reading and writing, presentation skills, Concentration, Creativity, Interpersonal skills  etc. The Parivartan project is conducted in 31 TMC schools, 3 JMC schools (Jalgaon Municipal Corporation) and in Maharana Pratap School of Jalgaon.


Parivartan, a yearlong program is conducted for the municipal students of 8th 9th and 10th   and this convocation program gives them a platform to share there experiences and learnings in front of more than 600 audience.

Established in the year 2007 in Thane, EMCO Foundation (EF) is an extended CSR arm of EMCO Ltd and is registered as Public Charitable Trust with a vision 'To transform lives through sustainable development involving stakeholders' in India.  EF is engaged in a variety of people-centric, social development projects aiming at transforming lives of communities with whom it is involved.

EF currently has presence in Thane and Jalgaon and plans to have a pan India presence in the near future.

EF works closely with the Education Department of the Thane Municipal Corporation, Jalgaon Municipal Corporation and Maharana Pratap School in Jalgaon in developing students for better future. EF takes multiple projects for 31 TMC Schools, 3 JMC schools and MP School and slum communities in Thane and Jalgaon such a “Yashasvi”-Scholarship support for needy SSC scholar students, “Shiksha”- to create interest among children for education through joyful teaching & encourage parents to enroll children in school for continued education, “Parivartan”-Soft skill enhancement project, Career Guidance, Health awareness like Anti- tobacco awareness, digital learning through E class.

EF also implements activities in the areas of Environment preservation through tree plantation, solar lamp distribution in tribal areas and in Healthcare, organizes blood donation camps, Ratina eye check-up camp every year at all our locations. Apart from regular programs EF organizes Joy Of Giving Week since last 6 years and contributes in the national level event for collection of old useful material to be distributed in needy areas of the Country.

In 2012 with response to the TMC request EF established first of its kind digital classroom in one of the TMC Schools at Dhokali. Students are getting education through digital content from 1st to 10th std. and are enjoying the learning. Teachers find it very useful tool and witnessing the greater impact through audio visual teaching.


EF mission is collaborating and supporting the public school system along with other agencies and like-minded individuals in improving the quality of education through creative and effective programs involving its stakeholder and the society at large.



At every level, EF only aim is to improve the public education system rather than creating parallel systems. We have been able to affect the lives of more than 61 thousand people since our inception. Every day EF finds innovative ways of 'Transforming Lives, Changing Destinies'.
