#Chappie (English) Rating: * * *   Blomkamp’s ‘Chappie’ tries to hit ‘affecting’ rather than the expected cutting edge visual metric of sci-fi sagas. It explores the extent at which gender stereotyping determines character and morals and how a decaying though seemingly resilient family gets torn asunder by the burden of expectations from a few.
