Call for Entry: 61st National Film Awards

The Directorate of Film Festivals, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting is calling for entries for the 61st National Film Awards for the year 2013 in the Feature Films, Non-feature Films and Best Writing on Cinema sections.
The last date of entry is 14th February, 2014.
Films which have received Censor Certification between 1st January and 31st December, 2013 (both days inclusive) and books and articles/ reviews on cinema published between 1st January and 31st December, 2013 are eligible to participate.
In the feature films section, there will be awards in 30 categories including Best Feature Film, Best Debut Film of a Director, Best Popular Film, Best Children’s Film, Best Animation Film, Best Direction, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Playback Singer, Best Production Design, Best Music Direction, Best Feature Film in each of the language specified in Schedule VIII of the Constitution and also Best Feature Film in each of the languages other than those specified in Schedule VIII, among others.
In the Non-feature Film Section, the awards are given in 22 categories including Best Non-feature Film, Best Debut Non-feature Film of a Director, Best Arts/ Cultural Film, Best Animation Film, Best Direction, Best Cinematography, Best Music Direction, Best Editing, among others.
In the “Best Writing on Cinema” Section, the awards are given in the categories of Best Book on Cinema and Best Film Critic.
