Jai Ho(Hindi) :Rating: * * ½ The
best example of ‘Crony’ capitalism in Bollywood. All those numerous friends who
stayed true to ‘Bhai’ through thick and thin get a new lease of life. And the
Bhai’s brand has also taken a step closer towards the ‘haloed’ turf. The entire
film is structured to make Bhai look almost Saintly. So you know what the next
step for him is likely to be-‘Playing God!’. And there’s no point belittling a
film that stays true to it’s avowed agenda-Apna Kaam banta Bhaad mein jaye
Janta!!
Mandela: Long walk to Freedom: Rating: * * * ½ Nelson Mandela's 1995 autobiographical account provides
the basis for this compelling, though abbreviated , biopic adaptation about his
political life, Worthy Pleasure for sure!
