Mumbai 10th June, 2014: If Goa in the rains is what you always wanted to do, here is an ideal time to do it. The IndyaNewz.com Goa Monsoon Fashion Weekend, scheduled to be held in North Goa from the 14th to the 17th August 2014 is expected to bring in an additional two-lakh domestic visitors from various parts of India.



Reputed fashion designers like Umair Zafar, Randell Gomes, Raymond Fernandez and about 8 others have already confirmed their participation in the event, said sources. Bollywood will be in attendance at the event in strength and a movie is also likely to be shot on the premises of the event.



Over 50 designers from different parts and States of India will participate in the 4-day glamour and trade event. On display will be about 10,000 different ethnic, bridal, Indian wear and Indo-Western garments and outfits. The event is organized by IndyaNewz.com Events and about 100 models, 50 photographers, 10 choreographers and hundreds of technicians and experts will make up the crew and unit that will help make the mega event see the light of day.



The IndyaNewz.com Goa Monsoon Fashion Weekend will also feature a beauty pageant which is yet to be formally announced as well as after-parties and concerts. The organizers have lined up an Independence Fusion Unplugged live music event on 15th August to showcase some of the new and upcoming talent in the fusion gen-ere of music.


Several classical and Indo-western performing arts events will also feature alongside the itinerary of the main event with performers including Hollywood actress Anjana B,  kathak guru Jayantimala and classical fusion dance exponent Rishka Mishra.
