Mumbai women’s International Film Festival (MWIFF) is an 8-day film festival, organized by Oculus Creations to bring forth the women of the industry at an international level. Slated in the month of December from 6th to 13th2014, it offers film buffs to enter in the cinematic world of films, entertainment, knowledge and fun.

The purpose of the film festival is to provide an international platform to the unknown, the unheard, and the hidden talent of film-making in a woman. MWIFF is not to portray women in front of the camera, but to showcase her talent behind the camera and give her the spotlight she always deserved! MWIFF also promotes friendship and co-operation among people of the world through the medium of films & documentaries and thus have a wide diverse cultural exchange.

Albeit film festivals have become a regular event in most countries and give consideration to the successful film makers, MWIFF intends to organize a festival which is for upcoming independent filmmakers and technicians. The festival connects the film buffs & movies goers with the film world, especially the enthusiast filmmaker & their associates so as to bring about greater understanding of the art of film making.
