Mumbai Women's International Film Festival Festival (MWIFF) 2014

Mumbai Women's International Film Festival Festival (MWIFF) 2014 organized by Oculus Creations and hosted byMaharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) which started on 6th December 2014 concluded on 13th December 2014 at Liberty Cinema, Marine Lines. The festival showcased a total of 152 films received from across 62 countries. 
The festival aims to give women filmmakers an international platform to showcase their talent. MWIFF is a festival not having a feminist approach however just want to Appreciate, Inspire, and Celebrate the work done by Women in Films. With an initiative to give women filmmakers an international platform, MWIFF was started 2 years back and with the support it received w.r.t media, participants and people associated with its scaling great heights day by day. 

The festival will appreciate and honor the work of women filmmakers at the Closing Ceremony where apart from awarding the participant filmmakers, the festival will felicitate women from different field or departments of film in the Bollywood industry. A total of 44 awards were  given to recognize the talented females in the industry.

Amrita Mahal- Production Designer (2 States, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewaani, Student of the Year)

Charu Khurana- Makeup Artist who fought for 60 year old ban on women as makeup artist in film industry.

Ashutosh Ghorpade - Former Directorate of Cultural Affairs, Govt. of Maharashtra.
